Austmer the Renegade - an elder druid, he served as the voice of the human population in Steinbjorn. He is well known in the region as a hero of the Last War and a man of great wisdom. The party first met Austmer when he and the other elders of Steinbjorn employed the Zambladors, Malva, Cephandrius, and Adokul to investigate strange rumors regarding Stormholm Peak. Their second interaction about a month later was less cordial as they sought his assistance curing a farm boy's strange affliction. Confronted in his grove by the party and the assembled druids in early Cercis, he admitted his part in the corruption of the Green Mother and the Ancient One with the aid of the Crone, his involvement with the Raven Queen to secure the Spriggan Mother, but refused to accept that those actions were unnecessary, citing the old laws he claimed the Green Mother and the Ancient One had broken which forced his hand so many years ago. He is now a pariah and remains at large.
Master Freythor - the dwarf elder, he speaks for the Dwarven community of Steinbjorn. A true hero of the Last War, he led soldiers directly against the Eladrin and helped secure the freedom of Hrim. The party first met Freythor when he and the other elders of Steinbjorn employed the Zambladors, Malva, Cephandrius, and Adokul to investigate strange rumors regarding Stormholm Peak. When the party visited the keep in Cercis, Freythor implored the party to assist him in uniting the various factions in Hrim so that the north might stand a chance against the Eladrin... or possibly strike first before the Empire could finish their preparations.
Fredegar - the eldest halfling in Steinbjorn, he speaks for the many halflings in the town. He owns the trading post and carter shoppe, and his daughter runs the tavern. He has connections throughout the region as his business often oversees transports through the mountains and between the local powers within Hrim. The party first met Fredegar when he and the other elders of Steinbjorn employed the Zambladors, Malva, Cephandrius, and Adokul to investigate strange rumors regarding Stormholm Peak. Their second meeting was negotiating the purchase of horses for their journey west after returning to aid a young man from Framenturn with a strange affliction. Their third meeting was in Skara, as Fredegar reveal himself to be a master information broker and spy, inducting Malva into Thoka - the Mist. Several weeks later, Fredegar met with Malva in Meadoros to ask her about some details surrounding her father and her exploits, revealing some interesting stories about his past...
Rast - the only hobgoblin living permanently in Steinbjorn, he is a blacksmith of decent skill. A quiet man, it is odd to find lone hobgoblins living outside of their tribes.
Eira - Fredegar's daughter, she owns and operates The Pick and The Keg (Steinbjorn's tavern and inn).
Mother Teawort - Malva's mother; the travelers met her when Arbe and Claudius turned her front yard into an impromptu deer roast. Mother Teawort was also happy to see her daughter return unharmed in Cercis when the party visited.
Frode - the apothecary; a hermited halfling living in a warped little shack that also serves as his shoppe, hugging the mountain on the outskirts of town past the barrows. He hastily pushed two vials into the hands of the travelers at Malva's insistence through a barely-opened door, one of which proved useful in the party's encounter with the Verglas. He also has a standing arrangement with Branan for corpse rose buds. The missing halfling girl that was sacrificed to corrupt the Green Mother and the Ancient One was his daughter. The old apothecary told the party of his previous dealings with a crystal like the one the party has found, but could not give them good details on where he had found it considering the afflictions he had suffered from it.
Calder - the dwarf owner of Beard and Barrel Brewing Company, the local brewery. Calder is also the only arcanist in Steinbjorn - as a friend of Freythor, Calder fought alongside the Dwarven elder in the Last War, and thus a would-otherwise-be-distrusted wizard remains. He assisted Cephandrius in discovering the provenance of several items retrieved from the ruins of Verglas Castle. Later, Calder approached the party with a proposition to retrieve an item for him in an abandoned Dwarven dul Calder believes lies north of Trombak. Calder bought two spellbooks from the party when the visted Steinbjorn in Cercis and made plans to hopefully employ them on his endeavor west of Trombak once tensions eased in the north.
High Forgesmith Ragna, Adept of the Anvil - the local priestess of Moradin, Ragna oversees the Temple of Moradin in Steinbjorn. A cheery woman, she is well-respected among the local dwarves. Viktor was able to help drive the crystal's infection from her after she was afflicted while curing Alvin.
Alvilda - Captain of the guard in Steinbjorn and Freythor's right hand. The party last saw her leading a detachment of soldiers from Steinbjorn to Varheim to deliver a message to Alrek II, to remind him of his oaths to defend the North.
Brennan Able - the current patriarch of the Able family, the party met him while investigating the death of an old halfling on the edge of Framenturn.
Old Man Brighton - The elder of the Brighton family, the party met him while investigating the death of the old halfling and the mysterious crystal they found. He enlists the party to help escort his merchant wagon to Steinbjorn so they can help Alvin.
Alvin - a farmhand on Brighton farm, he was the one who initially found the murdered halfling. Now, he has strange rashes/burns on his hand and face and babbles in an unknown language. The party was able to bring him to Steinbjorn and have the cleric Ragna intercede with Moradin on his behalf after Branan was only able to drive the infection from him for a few moments.
Constable Folkvar - while not the highest ranking member of the police, Constable Folkvar serves as head bailiff, overseeing prisoners and handling the service of writs within the city proper. Cephandrius and Malva spoke with him at the courthouse so they could gain access to Arvind. On the day before Ostara, they spoke with him again, relaying information about the massacre at Hnigalimar and finding out some details about Undersecretary Greaves' reputation in the city. In the battle against Birel and Kveðarok in the Grand Council courtyard, he stood with the party to bring down the Destroyer, a beast from the swirling chaos that Birel called through the Tear.
Dain Aranore - a dwarf that Vondal and Malva spoke to in The Longhouse; he spoke for the Synod while the older dwarves continued their game of Brickwork, telling the party about the longshoreman Thorin.
"The Synod" - Three Dwarven elders of the Aranore, Caebrek, and Loderr clans in Skara who can, without fail, be found in The Longhouse playing Brickwork. Under the right circumstances, they've been known to tell amazing tales of long ago, if one can get in their good graces.
Ylva - leader of Brœðralag Ulfveiðr - the Brotherhood of the Wolf Hunt - whose headquarters is in a fortified old Eladrin chantry-house on the western edge of the city of Skara. She and four Brothers captured Arvind on the Skaran docks trying to make his way onto a boat to Haloga. On 25 Alor, she and five Brothers arrived at Hnigalimar investigating reports of a disturbance at the estate as the party was preparing to leave. After a quick investigation, she rode back to Skara with the party, discussing details about Arvind's capture, Undersecretary Greaves, and Travok Strongjaw.
Thorin - established as an eye witness to Arvind being present at The Longhouse around the time Investigator Draumspak is believed to have been murdered, this Dwarven longshoreman was described to be untrustworthy. Captured by Thoka, Malva, Branon, and Viktor interrogated Thorin in the basement of the spy network's safehouse in Skara on 25 Alor, uncovering his involvement in several illicit operations - false witness against Arvind at the behest of Undersecretary Greaves, and smuggling of presumably Eladrin goods into the city.
Talbot the Hierophant - Head of the Temple of the Old Gods in Skara. Viktor brought news to him about Austmer the Hierophant, the Crone, and the affliction of the Grove of the Green Mother and the Ancient One. Druid Talbot was gravely concerned about this news, saying he would call a moot to investigate it further. Leading the moot, Talbot sent the party to investigate the Grove of the Ancient Mother further while the other druids went on to Steinbjorn to investigate Austmer's grove. Once the party returned with their tale from confronting the Sisters and the Spriggan Mother, Talbot led the other druids and the party to Steinbjorn to confront Austmer. When Austmer fled, leaving behind the symbols of his office, Archdruid Unig vouched for Talbot after Vondal suggested Talbot become the Hierophant.
Veit the Tempered - A Forgesmith of Moradin at the temple in Skara. Vondal spoke with the priest, seeking guidance about his rage; the Forgesmith gave him words of encouragement, telling him that even this bane might be a gift from Moradin, if Vondal could use it to defend others.
Clerister Martin - one of the clerks in the Grand Council's Office of Arcane Registration. Cephandrius bribed Martin to lower the price on his two-week registration.
Dómari Draumspak - an investigator for the Grand Council, Dómari was looking to several incidents that appeared to be linked to seditious groups within the city. His body was found in a locked room in The Longhouse on 21 Alor; a witness and some circumstantial evidence surrounding the postmortem mutilation of Dómari's corpse led to Arvind being charged with his murder. Based on the Draumspak's journal found by the party when they searched his study, he was most likely murdered by currently unknown agents of the Eladrin Empire. The party later discovered that his soul likely rests within the confines of a soul cage somewhere, but where...
Gola Draumspak - the widow of Dómari, the party spoke with her when they went to the Draumspaks' home in the Human Borough of Skara to examine the murdered investigator's body as it lay in state in his study prior to burial.
Bernard Greaves - Bernard Greaves was the Skaran Guildmaster of the Redsmiths and Undersecretary to Councilor Dyrgill in carrying out Council duties. Constable Folkvar mentioned that Undersecretary Greaves was the one who had presented the initial evidence to the Council that brought about the charges of sedition against Arvind. He was arrested for his part in the conspiracies that lead to the panic on Ostara.
Councilor Dyrgill - Olin Dyrgill is head of the Blacksmith's Guild and the Smith's Representative on the Grand Council.
Ambassador Ove - Vigleik Ove is the Halogan ambassador in Skara. The party spoke with him on the eve of Ostara on Arvind's behalf, looking into missing registration paperwork that the embassy should have filed on Arvind's behalf. He and the party also had an informative discussion about Undersecretary Greaves' reputation in the city.
Nora Hilltopple - Ambassador Ove's secretary. She was also present at the meeting on the eve of Ostara, discussing how some people from the Redsmith's Guild had been there several days prior asking questions about Arvind.
Novuth Aranore - An old salty “pirate”, Novuth runs The Jaded Pelican, a tavern and inn that largely caters to Dwarven guildsmen. Rumors abound about his "pirate" name, some calling him Cuthroat Nov the Splendid, others Fluffy Nov, and still others Admiral Nov.
Sela Tareðor - a spirited older woman, she is the librarian at the Grand Council Hall in Skara.
Vani Vern - a halfling wainwright working in Skara. Vondal and Brother Berti helped retrieve a stolen marker's brand for her from a competitor.
Brandt Gildas - a Halogan transplant to the city, he also owns and operates a wainwright shop in Skara. Apparently, he had commissioned a pair of ruffians to steal Vani Vern's brand so he could undercut her business.
Manning and Hemming Maccus - Two brothers, also from Haloga, that assisted Brandt Gildas in relocating to Skara. They also apparently serve as muscle for him.
Brother Berti - a Wolf Hunt Brother; Vondal accompanied him on a short contract in Skara to see if Vondal was interested in joining the Wolf Hunt.
Skaeti Stanison - The seneschal of Hnigalimar, a ruggedly handsome human, prematurely greying, with piercing green eyes. Skaeti was working as a private tutor for a number of wealthy families in Skara; when he heard of the events at the estate, he made the journey north to offer his services. Skaeti may have some Skaldic ancestry - grewing up in Sabana, he had a number of cousins whose last name was Grimavang who lived on an estate near the city.
Asyn Loderr - Originally commissioned by Branan to work on some design for him, this white and wild-haired Dwarven woman has deep-set grey eyes and a penchant for talking to herself, but she is definitely an excellent smith and daring engineer. She was eager to take up the role of blacksmith for the estate.
Spirie Finneson - Another Branan discovery, Spirie is a young rake already looking to retire from the adventurer life having had his fill of daring-do. He and his pet rat-snake Ingwag were pleased to take over the library and information-brokering that helps keep Hnigalimar tapped into the pulse of goings-on in Vandalmál.
Solva - An oddity in Skara, and in much of Hrim to be honest, Solva is a striking Hobgoblin woman with flowing red hair and a sharp, thin nose. Always sharply dressed and never far from her bandoleer of vials and potions, Cephandrius hired her on to serve as the sage at the estate, looking into all matters esoteric.
Ormr the Merchant - a Skaran merchant leading a small wagon with a handful of young protectors that the party met on the northern road. His group made camp with the party, listening to their stories, and were glad for their company on the road to Meadoros. His woodcarvings of animals were exquisite, and fetched a good price at the markets in Meadoros.
Brennu the Initiate - a scarred druid protecting a family of owlbears with young in the mountains along the northern road. The party asked about the depths of the cave his charges had made their den; he noted that it did open into deeper chambers, but he had not had a chance to explore, lest 'poachers' kill the owlbears.
The Bóandi family - a father, mother, and three children that the party met coming out of a small hamlet about a half-day from Meadoros. They were leaving to seek better fortunes after bad harvests last year; hopefully they might ply a trade in the city and find better luck. The party hitched their small cart the back of Ormr's wagon to aid them on their way into the city.
Ivar and Ervid - a pair of Imperial textiles merchants heading to Skara. The party saved their lives as the group camped while traveling eastward to Roc Mountain. Kora and Ande left the party to escort them safely on their journey. The party made contact with them again in Meadoros under much better circumstances, with Cephandrius commissioning a new set of clothing fit to appease Eladrin aristocracy.
Halver Floshem - Overseer of Meadoros, Halver has a penchant for the pipe. While not overly tall, he was once an obviously athletic man. His braided beard and long, wavy white hair help soften his piercings and advanced age. He met with the party to discuss Freythor's proposal seeking alliance to protect the North against the Empire, and possibly take the fight to the Eladrin this time, but first, he needed assistance dealing with a growing threat from local tribesmen whose raids had gone from a nuisance to something far more deadly.
Clas Eathalena - the Head Brother of the Wolf Hunt chapterhouse in Meadoros, Clas is a mountain of a man, head shaven, several prominent facial piercings and scars, with a solid oaken peg leg. The party met him their first evening in Meadoros, seeking information about recent events in the area and who to speak with to gain audience with the Overseer.
Katrina Cleves - a young girl and recent aspirant to the Grove of the Old Gods in Meadoros, Katrina came to join the church after the ovate in her village saved her life when her parents returned to life as ravenous dead.
High Initiate Finnan - currently overseeing the Grove of the Old Gods while Dyne and Thogi are away, this unimposing halfling man still keeps to the simple robes of the aspirants, although he has allowed his hair to grow back. He spoke with the party while they were in Meadoros, and his manner and answers to some of the party's questions put them ill at ease. Viktor later met with the High Initiate in private, securing his promise of assistance in communing with the Spriggan.
Disanz Torevir - the proprietor of The Crossed Staves Inn located in Meadoros. A sensitive older Dwarf woman, she does mutter under her breath occasionally about hobgoblins.
Pater Wasanthi - Seneschal Wasanthi of Meadoros serves Overseer Floshem in running the day-to-day operations of the city. He provided the party with information on the region surrounding the city of Meadoros prior to their excursion into the mountains searching for the Kelds. When they returned triumphant, he also gave them information on the location of a front for the Mist in the city to help them track down some additional rumors as well as paying them for their services in helping with the Kelds.
Skila Loderr - A young dwarf council page in Hul Lodir, Skila helped answer questions for the party while they rested in the Hul's Gate District before heading into the Northsea Mountains. He also introduced them to Hilda as a guide.
Hilda Caebrek - a soft-spoken Dwarven woman, well-suited to the foothills and mountains, Hilda guided the party into the mountains seeking the site of the first Starfall from back in early Reynir. What they found was more than anyone bargained for...
Baern Loderr - A brash, fast-talking member of the High Council in Hul Lodir, the party met Baern at the Citadel in Meadoros as he was leaving from speaking with Overseer Floshem. They discussed Freythor's thoughts on possible conflict with the Empire and the state of the Keld problem alongside Baern's reason for traveling to Meadoros: trying to force the Overseer to better honor the city's commitments to the Hul on securing the route between the Hul and Meadoros against raiders. Once the Keld threat to Meadoros and Hul Lodir was dealt with, he pledged the Hul's forces to aid Freythor in the upcoming fight against the Eladrin.
Artin Glanhig - Maiden-name Strongjaw, Artin is Vondal's sister. She married into the Glanhig clan to help secure connections for her merchant parents, but she does seem to genuinely love her husband Ulfgar. She is also aware of some of the seedier elements of her family's business.
Ulfgar Glanhig - Originally from Hul Lodir, Ulfgar is a thin, middle-aged dwarf who comes across as more mild-mannered in public, but has a hard edge in private. Tasked with expanding his family's gem business into Hul Golgrim and Meadoros, he has been somewhat successful so far in the Hul... less so in Meadoros.
Orsik Lutgehr - Captain of the Guard in the Market District in Hul Golgrim.
Vonbin Gorunn - A middle-aged failure of a dwarf, Vonbin was a brewer's apprentice, but then stole a valuable recipe from his master in Skara and returned home to Hul Golgrim, throwing in with his old friends who now worked for the Glanhig clan - Uraim, Dalgal, Delg, and Oskar. He was not among the dead at the shop, and his whereabouts are currently unknown.
Uraim, Dalgal, Delg, and Oskar Ungart - Four dead dwarves who were in the employ of Glanhig's Precious Stones. Uraim was a henchman for Ulfgar Glanhig, working on muscling the family's gem business into Meadoros.

Camilla - a Keldon ranger, she agreed to assist the party in finding Church's friends (whom she refers to as the visitors) who were captured by the Kelds several months ago. The party first assisted her in locating relics lost by her mate Gaius when he died as part of his trials in the rift valley. Backed by the party, she returned to challenge the current chieftain Octavia; a majority of the clan elders backed Camilla and ousted Octavia, overruling her demand for trial by combat.
Octavia - Chieftain of the Keldon unseated by Camilla. Having previously aligned herself with Aurelias, she had used the Vodoni werewolves to infect tribesmen and create berserker warriors who could infect their enemies. Challenged by Camilla and ousted by the clan elders, she left the Keldon village alone in disgrace.
Marcus - An elder Keld, battle scarred and greying, yet still tall and strong. He stood against Octavia and called for the elders to decide when she demanded Camilla fight her in single combat for power. He voted for Camilla. He also accompanied the party as an emissary for the Kelds to represent their interests in Hrim's growing army.
Aelius - A wizened old man, sloped by his years, he nonetheless commands great respect amongst the more "scholarly" Kelds, serving the tribe as a sage and spiritual leader. He voted for Octavia.
Cloelia - A powerfully built warrior, her role as head of the chieftain's personal guard and as a clan elder allows her to command great respect. She voted for Camilla.
Nona - Another scarred and competent warrior and clan elder, she oversees the warriors of the tribe - functionally the general of the armies. She also voted for Camilla.
Tacitus - A thinner, old Keld and clan elder, he oversees much of the more agricultural and infrastructural aspects of the village. As three of the elders had already cast their votes for Camilla, he did not cast a vote in either direction.
Cato - Aurelias' lieutenant, overseeing the Keldon cultists in their cave. The party killed him as they rescued Shimmer from the Cult of the End.
Archdruid Unig - Cephandrius and Malva unknowingly met this short, stout druid two months ago in Stormholm Pass as they ventured to the ruins of Verglas castle. He went with the other druids to secure the Grove of the Ancient Mother from Austmer, should he try to rouse the Blackroot.

While investigating rumors in Biarma at the behest of the Jarl of Haloga, he enlisted the party to assist him in searching out the Tomb of King Eirick Jokullmon - the burial site of the Frozen King - which was rumored to be at foot of Roc Mountain. The party rescued him from the tomb, and he and Cephandrius closed the Tear opened by Birel there while the party defeated the arisen Frozen King. Set up by Birel and Kveðarok for sedition and murder, the party cleared Arvind's name in Skara and secured his release from prison. The party last saw the Skald as he set off for Varheim to finally make his report to the Jarl. Present during the beginnings of the civil unrest in Varheim, Arvind boarded a ship headed for the Shattered Isles...
The Primal Sisters - lesser dryad sisters of the Green Mother; the party assisted one of the Sisters in defending her tree at the edge of the now-defiled Grove of the Green Mother and the Ancient One. She initially seemed friendly, but became more terse and wary as Viktor told her of his dreams, finally forbidding the party entrance to the Grove once it became clear that Viktor already knew something of the corruption that lies within the Grove... even if he was not fully aware of it. Upon the party's later return to the Grove, the Sisters were persuaded to allow entry to learn the full truth of the Green Mother and the Ancient One; once they escaped back from the Grove, the Sisters gave them a place to rest and helped lead them out of the lands of the Fey so they would not become lost.
Travok Strongjaw - Vondal's brother, thought dead nearly fifty years ago as a casualty of the Last War. Also known as the Nightingale Blade, Adaka is an interstellar assassin, known to have been influential in bringing down the Vodoni Empire; she is the reason the Vodoni landed on Vandalmál, following information saying she was headed to this world. She is also known to have connections to the Raven Queen. The party made a deal with Adaka in Hul Golgrim, seeking her services to assassinate two members of the Eladrin royal family.
Numinal - mentioned by Shimmer, Numinal is apparently a sentient "book" of the Ancients that she discovered many years ago. Birel - First encountered in the Tomb of King Eirick Jokullmon, Birel is a former Skald on a mission of unknown purpose. She has shown dread power, however - she woke the Frozen King and spoke ancient words that rent a Tear in reality before escaping the party. Emperor Enialis - Magister-Regent of the Winter Court and Emperor of Vandalmál at the time of the Last War, Enialis ruled from his palace at the center of Nidaros. Today, his once-proud capital is a necropolis, blasted still by whatever fell magicks the Eladrin unleashed in their attempt to push back the Hrim rebels from their gates.
Illarian, Wizard-King of the Cirean Empire - An ancient regent of the Cirean Empire, ruling over sections of that fallen empire that are now north of current-day Meadoros. The party discovered his ornate tomb in the mountains northeast of Meadoros.
