Skaran guilds are considered more diverse and skilled
Skaran guilds are backed by the Grand Council - guild papers have council seals, and guild masters can sit in on council meetings as advisers

Major halls in hul-thanes, small enclaves or individuals can be found in dul- or sul-thanes. Masters for the individual guilds can be found at most major halls, but some sought after masters retire to wherever they wish.
Papers/seals back by the guilds themselves, recognized in almost all thanes.
Most mixed-race guilds also recognize Dwarven craft or merchant guild papers.
Major guilds include smithing guilds (black, armor, weapon, etc), jewel, stone-craft
Most Imperial guilds are mixed-race
Wizards and Sorcerers are not guilds - they are schools
